Collection: Subdermal Needles
Subdermal needles are specialized tools used in intraoperative monitoring (IOM) to monitor the intraoperative activity of the patient. They are designed to be inserted into the patient's body, usually through a small incision, to measure electrical activity generated by the patient's muscles and nerves. These needles are made of a durable, non-metallic material and feature a thin, curved tip that allows for precise placement and monitoring. They can be used to measure the electrical signals generated by the patient's muscles and nerves and to help diagnose nerve injury or damage. Subdermal needles can also be used to deliver drugs or other medications during IOM.
